Challenge
What is the impact of this modernisation?
Context of the challenge
The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the National Martynas Mažvydas Library and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, implemented the "Modernisation of the Cultural Education System" project. The aim was to strengthen cultural competences and develop other skills through a tailor-made IT platform called KEIS. Activities were carried for almost a year to meet the project's objectives. Therefore, an evaluation was needed to assess the impact of cultural education forums, training programs, the Cultural Education Information System, and cultural education interventions on various participants, including students, teachers, administrators, and developers.
Quantitative
research
Quantitative information was gathered through the use of structured questionnaires, enabling the collection of data to measure various aspects of the project.
Interactive
workshops
Workshops were conducted with diverse target groups to evaluate the qualitative impact of the project. These interactive sessions provided a platform for participants to share their experiences, perspectives, and feedback.
Participatory
observation
Observational methods were employed, allowing researchers to actively engage and observe project activities and their effects. This approach facilitated the capturing of unarticulated qualitative data and insights.
Mobile
ethnography
Utilized mobile ethnography techniques to gain a deeper understanding of participants' experiences and behaviors in real-world contexts. This method involved collecting data through digital documentation.
Expert
evaluation
Experts in the field provided their evaluation and guidance, offering insights and recommendations to improve the project's services and outcomes. Their expertise and knowledge were systematically integrated into the evaluation process.
